Saskatchewan's first bio-diesel retail pump opens.

In yet another first, Canadian Green Fuels Inc. has opened Saskatchewan's first biodiesel retail pump. President Michael Shenher was pleased to announce that his Regina plant on 1620 McAra Street has responded to the growing need in the bio-diesel industry and opened Saskatchewan's first bio-diesel retail pump.

"I'm pleased to announce that we have opened the first retail bio-diesel pump in Saskatchewan," said Shenher. "Our bio-diesel is made from renewable resources such as canola oil, and can be used in pure form or blended in any diesel engine."

As gasoline prices exponentially rise and air pollution continue to cause irreversible environmental effects, Canadian Green Fuels Inc. literally provides "a breath of fresh air" to consumers.

"Consumers, especially businesses today, need to be economically feasible and socially responsible. In the past, using green products and technology came with a high price tag," said Shenher. "But this is just not the case at our company, we can maintain our social responsibility while keeping our costs low, as we are selling our bio-diesel for only 99 cents per litre."

"I think that drivers in Saskatchewan should be given a choice about their diesel fuel. Everyone has their different reasons for using green products whether it is for reduced emissions or to support the local canola farmer, but the important thing is that we are now providing Saskatchewan with a choice for their diesel fuel," said Shenher.

Every year, Canada consumes 40 billion litres of diesel fuel; world consumption is 700 billion litres. Diesel emissions contain high levels of oxides, nitrogen and sulphur, which contribute to air pollution and health problems.
