Perhaps it would be to your benefit to check on world events?

I get your point, but I still don't buy the notion that "world events" had much to do with today's market decline.

Have we already forgotten about the big bomb that blew up in a Moscow airport? The market didn't seem to care about that.

My guess is that after almost three straight weeks of increases, the market needed to take a breather.
