CALGARY, Jan. 6 /CNW/ - Sonoro Energy Ltd. ("Sonoro" or "the Company") (TSX-V:SNV) announces that it has issued 23.75 million shares to Berkeley Petroleum Mesopotamia Asphalts Limited at a deemed price of $0.38 per share under the terms of its agreement with Berkeley as announced on October 4, 2010. The share issuance was subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval, which has now been received. The shares will be subject to a four month hold period expiring May 7, 2011.
