And Dec 28 is looming as D-day when unempolyment benifits run out for a lot of people. Now if you're looking at your benifits running out in about 30 days, and have no job prospects, are you going to be spending big for Chirstmas? Maybe the powers that be are thinking that a big rally in the markets will get people spending. Only problem is J6P doesn't really know squat about the markets, and really doesn't follow it.
