After watching cancer clinical trials for years, do you agree with zirdu's views regarding Primary vs. Secondary endpoints?

I am trying to avoid a recurrance of my PARS disease -- where I too readily accepted the views of very sincere and knowledgeable longs, who were none the less wrong in the end.
