I got tired of waiting and wrote the CFO and said when are you going to raise money I've been predicting since $20
LOL
I thought your MO was to wait for a company to have a trial fail then buy
Not necessarily. I do prefer that situation, provided the company is in decent financial shape and has a drug or drugs in the pipeline that I think can ultimately bring interest back to the company and stock. But, I try to be flexible too. And I can't ignore BMY's apparent interest in VRUS given the recent collaboration deal. VRUS is in a great position right now, though they of course still have to execute in the clinic.
Also, ARIA was one instance where I was waiting to see if there was a failure and a big drop in share price as I thought for sure that would be a buying opportunity. But, this is actually one instance where I'm actually tempted to buy after positive Phase 3 news given that the jump wasn't all that great and rida in sarcoma is just the tip of the iceberg as it relates to rida and there is ponatinib to follow along with the ALK inhibitor. ARIA looks to be in great shape right now as well IMHO.
