Ya know? There was a time when the US began to settle down that people no longer felt it necessary to wear their weapons openly in public. Then, the rule of law took hold. Civility was the means by which society guaranteed that folks would not need to be equipped for mortal combat every second of the day.

And so, aside from a bunch of ConservoNazi loonies issuing death threats over talk radio, what has changed that causes us to backslide 140 years all of a sudden.

Maybe its the folks who think we need to "take back" the US. Take it back? from whom? The duly elected representatives of the people who legislate laws in accordance with the wishes of their constituents?

And, I do believe that the Constitution guarantees us all the right to Keep and Arm Bears.
