Pedro, Marty, you both make excellent points.
Marty I appreciate your position concerning the wireless rollout. I completely agree with the advantages the upgrade will provide, both economic and competitive.
However Pedro also makes a good point on the company being so concerned with blowing away each quarters estimate, at the current moment, because of the lack of respect the market is giving them.
I think that management is more in touch with the local advertising market than we are. I believe that if they believe they need to implement to a wireless uploading system, then they will execute that project with the same efficiency they have show us in the past. They've already guided to us the fact that they are seriously considering it and for all we know, they are in the process right now of converting their systems, maybe at the planning stage. We don't know at the moment and the 4Q CC will be a good place to ask and to begin probing for information as to the implementation of their other programs (SWITOW, bus ticketing, radio).
I think that we should collectively gather questions on this board for the CC and have the most analytical member here ask our collective questions on the CC so we don't have 3 of us all in the queue waiting to ask the same thing. Better yet, we could email Jacky our questions and let him know that we will be calling in on the CC to respond to our questions. Maybe have Fernando or Swampdonkey do this. This will allow him to be better prepared to give us a proper answer instead of possibly tripping him up in front of the investing public making him and the company look bad and will also allow him to give us more detail to our questions.
Also, Marty, have you taken account into a possible 5% currency appreciation for 2011 into your estimates? Probable more than possible I believe.
Another thing, has anyone here considered a road trip to the corporate facilities? I missed the investors conference and probably should have gone for complete piece of mind.
