Troger, now that you mentioned it, I do have some things to add:

1. Do you suppose that Rice and Guyer need reminding of anything? Hmm....not sure about that. Will have to check out their 40 year resumes. Extra specious help is very difficult to come by.
2. Are you aware of any posts by 'creaminguy' where he mentioned anything about CGF pps? If so, could you forward that info to me. I would be very interested in what he had to say. Thanks for your help on that.
3. Since CGFI looks like they'll be in need of some extra-sturdy equipment in the removal of tailings, do you suppose they could use an extra 'J36', or would the one we already have be able to get the job done? Here is a link which we could perhaps forward to Mr. Rice and Mr. Guyer since they apparently have been enlisting the help of 'seasoned Junior Mining Co. experts': http://www.heritage-images.com/Preview/PreviewPage.aspx?id=2367052&pricing=true&licenseType=RM
Now, I did some research on these 'behemoths' and they are: 1) Fairly reliable yet versatile. They can even plow snow - good for the winter months. Tough Colorado mining winters require such 'unaffected' brute force. I believe they're also sturdy enough to handle the 'blunt force' of avalanches. So the DRMS will be happy that management has that covered.
2. There aren't many of these remaining, so we need to make a recommendation to CGF management asap that we have one.
3. The only drawback that I see with the J36 'loco'motives is that historically, they require larger boiler upgrades in order tackle hot air pressure from the forward compartment.

Outside of these minor obstacles, I'm thinking a goods locomotive like our J36 could really tackle the daunting task of transporting garbage to-and-from any location.

Let's let the other brain trust members here mull this over.

All IMHO, of course.
