i dont know much BUT: the majors are all after completely different markets using completly different technology. Fcel is big guns. plug you know. the entire boondoogle is the membrane and how to make it cheap enough. the mems literature has been peppered with attempts and apparent breakthroughs in this and it always seems "real soon now". there has to be a reason why plug bought hpowd in the intellectual property owned. I am probably telling you things you already know, but I would start with searches at the european and uspto and in the mems literature to see what private companies and university alliances exist. I have been too lazy, being mesmerized by my 8 cent cheapness for 5000 shares of hpowd at 1.83 when I should have put in 1.91.

right now fcel is selling for a 20% premium over cash i think its 5.34 dollars a share, so its an option
