When pinks are shorted there is often a careless attitude toward covering because people believe it can be done after the stock goes under.

The general theory is also to push the company to do dilutive financing after the stock price has gone down, creating a downward price spiral. Shorts then expect to cover at that level. Since GRNO has yet to go to the market for funds, this is not happening.
