Correction: not 3.9% premium to Progress's closing price of $44.72 Friday;
The Charlotte Business Journal reports that the purchase price is a 6.4 percent premium on Progress’ (NYSE: PGN) average closing price over the last 20 days. Progress’ stock price shot up late last week as word of the impending deal became public.
