A P&D is a "pump and dump" classic penny stock move of releasing news that has no real meaning to increase price temporarily so people can exit positions. This however is entirely different as this is huge news, backed by an 8-K filing, credible news sources such as Dow Jones newswire, CNBC, Fox Business and so on... all of which is NEVER seen with a pump and dump
