We like to think we are above that. Me don't need to be cried for. Me ain't no stankin' Argentina! But, I'm willing to bet Argentina hasn't spent as many decades manipulating smoke and mirrors as we have. And, their debt wasn't a fraction of ours. And, their unfunded liablities weren't a fraction of ours. And, they probably didn't even have a trade deficit. And, I'm willing to bet the average personal and corporate debt was a fraction what ours is percapita. And, they weren't a fraction as addicted to energy usage as we are. And, they ain't off fighting a fraction as many wars as we are. ETC.
