They had predicted Q3 fd eps would come in at 0.48, and the company earned 0.93. They were off by 94%! That is a joke....
The 2.25 estimate is very conservative and will probably be raised over time. I think its safe to say that this analyst does not have any feel for what is happening under the surface here. We know about the potential margin expansion and continued sales growth....but because of no coverage and no institutional interest, the stock has been lagging here. The past history of the shelf may have spooked some investors, and that will probably keep the valuations low going forward, but even with a cheap forward multiple of 5x and using the conservative 2.25, the stock could easily trade at 11.25.
