Damn....that Hedges is a good writer. I'm sitting here trying to think of something to say. Waking people up? It does seem to be a lost cause, doesn't it? They are still afraid of a united public, but what would it take? I don't know. Apathy and ignorance combined with blinding self-interest are formidable obstacles. These boards are a microcosm and considering that we read more than most shows you how desperate the situation is as we continue to take our anger out on each other.

I believe there are still avenues open, but there isn't much time.
