Interesting. Didn't know those war time nickels had manganese! Or the Sac dollar, either. (No wonder those coins lost their luster so quickly).

I am thinking 500 of those Pesos would be a good buy, indeed.

I have a set of BU war time nickels set in lucite. I also gave a set out as a gift to my brother--he sold them long ago. That's too bad.
