Wait a minute. You're really saying that Teva, a serious company by all accounts, was bluffing all along? IMO that makes no sense, as in their business the only party that can be bluffed by an FDA submission are the investors... and they in the end don't really matter. On the other hand, bluffing the FDA is a fools game because it will be called... no odds in bluffing there.

So your argument that it wasn't a "serious attempt to develop a commercial product" begs the question of who were they trying to bluff and for how long did they think they could do so? Your explanation is the investors... but I don't see Teva in that light. My own explanation for their behavior FWIW... the only one that to me makes any sense at all... is arrogance, not the cupidity that you suggest.

In any event, divining their intentions is, particularly from where I sit, a fools errand, and regardless of their strategy vis-a-vis their two franchises before the FDA, I'm very pleased with the CRL.
