Yes - although I realize you are being sarcastic, my point is still valid. That some dynamic system can't be predicted wrt timing - but can be predicted wrt magnitude. An avalanche is the classic example. Often these kinds systems are feedback systems - e.g. perceived market psych drives market psych is a feedback loop that will drive such behavior.
