I think there is a tendency, in the absence of a complete understanding of the business and promotion plan, to focus on the road just a few feet in front of the windshield. This leads to wild and over and under corrections, sort of like the difference between the line of a short term moving average compared to a more long term line. Herky jerky versus smooth and easy. We, none of us know the EXACT details of the promotion plan which naturally lends itself to substituting our own desires and opinions. When they are not met, fear sets in and criticism comes. This also leads to either forgetting or ignoring the progress already accomplished, as if because things are not going the way we want or think they should, we are back to square one.
The web site is up, promotions are underway, the site has been and is being promoted. Industry publications have been PR'd. Things are underway. If you believe this will succeed then you must hold tight and not judge. Allow those in charge to run the company and accept they have a plan for success that will necessarily need many adjustments along the way. And how long and at what point each thing needs to be done, and in what form, will be revealed in time. Hang in there.
