It is very confusing, indeed. As I was wondering about the paradoxical “double whipsaw” on the TLT/TBT couple, Cramer come on CNBC bragging about the great GS, who will make a lot of money since, according to him, those Boyz are experts in trading treasuries in conditions of high volatility. In plain English, this means that they manipulate the market in a spectacular way creating frequent stop/reverse events for the simple purpose of extracting some pennies from the unprepared traders. However, careful TA can capture in various time frames the limits of those moves.
CONCLUSION: one has to be very nimble or prudent …and avoid them!!!
