Not provide electricity to rural areas? What does that have to do with train service?
And how do those inept people who live in rural areas get to the train station?

Oh I know, they ride their horse!

Actually I know several people who live in rural areas without electricity. I have an uncle and aunt who live in NE and they do just fine with solar and propane. A wind mill provides power for their well.
They never could afford the cost of running power lines to their home.

Same goes for relatives in rural Oklahoma.
