I did call our local SS office and on the 3rd day of trying to get past the busy signal, got past the "press 2 for English" and 20 minutes later explained that my SS check for the previous month was never deposited into my account.

You know that "please continue to hold" crap!

She put me on hold and about 15 min. later said I needed to bring in a copy of my bank statement for the month that did not receive the deposit. I asked if I could fax it and she said NO.

So I drove 75 miles round trip to prove to them that they screwed up. Took another 2 months for them to get the deposit in there but they were kind enough to add interest for 3 months!

Never been in Palm Beach, FL. but been through the Miami airport on the way to and from the islands.
