Where do you get that from??? Matt has pleaded guilty to felony charges; there's no change of plea recorded; according to the record, he's a criminal.
There have been a bunch of sealed motions filed by the prosecution since Oct. Nobody knows what's in 'em. As the only visible thing which has happened is the replacement of Amador, I guess at least some of them may relate to that.
But otherwise, it looks like the common situation where sentencing gets delayed until the accused has performed his obligations under the plea agreement to cooperate & eg indictments using this cooperation have been secured or have come to nothing.
Depending on the details, that could take quite a while. Eg: Jones, one of the two main "cooperating witnesses" in the "Bermuda Short" pennyscam sting operation. He was convicted of securities fraud in 1997. Under his plea agreement, he wore a wire, served as a witness etc etc for the feds in "Bermuda Short", for years, and wasn't sentenced until 2004, when all (?) of the reuslting indictments had been handed down and the cases had been tried or were in process.
Doesn't mean that Matt et al's situation will be the same, but we probably won't know the details until the feds have gotten whatever they want out of them.
