I don't think this is about that. He already admitted under oath what he did. I think his lawyer didn't work hard enough at reducing his sentence. The reality of doing time made him think he might sing a few more lines to the song. Once you start you might as well sing the whole song.

If he knows enough and I do believe he does to take down quite a few groups that have nothing to do with his group he could walk free right out of the court room.
