My parents used to live about a mile from Mark McGuire, (before he went to St. Louis), and I used to work out at the same Gym as he did, (World Gym in Walnut Creek). Saw him in there a few times, but never talked to him. He seemed like a really nice, regular dude, no attitude or anything. Some lady saw him there, ran home and got her son, (about 9 or 10 yrs old I would guess), and brought him back so he could meet Big Mac. McGuire was really nice to the kid, even let him "work out" with him for a few minutes. It was really cute.
