I assume your talking about AI, yes it's possible we may see something in January with them but you have to remember game maker Raw Thrills already had an AI endorsed karaoke booth back in 2008 and it was ultimately canceled before it even went to market.

We don't know why exactly it was canceled, there are several rumors, one is that it was because of the royalties they had to pay to Simon Cowell. Now with Simon gone perhaps they no longer have to pay these and Mobile Star is trying/hoping to capitalize on this...who knows.

For what its worth the game designer himself said petty politics killed the deal with Idol. In my opinion Mobile Star doesn't have the connections to get a deal done with AI and any kind of hints that may have been dropped by them is just wishful thinking on their part.
