The Solar power is converted to AC in each room or wing and wired through existing AC conduit to a central panel. Distributed conversion has the advantage over central conversion in that if one converter fails, the rest of the system continues to operate. Some of the power may also instead be used locally where it is produced. Battery charging stations may also be used at either location. There are many possible configurations.
