We might want to keep in mind that equity in the re-organized WaMu is not out of the question, since this is typically how creditors get compensated post-BK. Personally, I would very much like to have that chance to compound my gains.

However, you are correct that, as it stands, our counsel is asking for payment in cash as a creditor to the estate.
