This is what the unions and GM management have done to Detroit... Greed, corruption, mismanagement and bloated union salaries have taken their toll... Not only on GM but on an entire industry. Even today, after the GM bankruptcy it's questionable how the massive pension obligations can possibly be met. And people question why industry is leaving our country!

This will take a long time to fix, if it can even be fixed... but it needs to be done by people getting paid for the value they produce ( including management ) and not by how much can be extracted by black mail and business threats.
