Although it is sometimes possible in the case of unique goods to reinstate the object to the person who it was taken from. In this case where WAMU breached the contract (Warrant Agreement) by transferring the good parts of the agreement (right to receive litigation proceeds) without transferring the obligations of the agreement (pay 85% of the proceeds to the LTW holders), it is a pretty typical breach of contract. The typical remedy for breach of contract is monetary damages.
