dolly50: Recalls

Hi...... Do you know if it is possible to recall someone elected to the state legislature in MO or what it takes to do that? I would be interested in learning what is required for each state for that is something easier for everyone to become involved in.

I would like to see one state recall one elected congress person or one judge, then watch the reaction. Once the people learn that it is possible to reverse the course of the 'ship'(sic), maybe they would encouraged to become more active next election(two or four years away).

During the course of going for the recall, all the local 'bad guys' would come out of the woodwork exposing who is who & on what side they are on.

Years ago I lived in a small communtiy that had approx' 30,000 voters, & during a pre-presidential election period, we canvassed all the local clubs & organizations(KIWANAS, League of Women Voters, JCC's, etc.) for the purpose of having speakers present the Republican Presidential, state & federal candidates, etc.

Interestingly, we learned in the process that the same names appeared as club officers in all the town's groups we canvassed - they just rotated each year or so. So when liberals gained control of the organizations, they retained control year after year by electing their own people to office.

Conservatives/Republicans have to learn to do the same to survive -

PS: Don't purchase steel jacketed Russian-made ammo - it tears-up the extractors on semi- & auto-fire.

rgds,
