I think we should keep the distinction alive.

Re: Mideast, Amram Mitzna is gaining in the polls on Ramon, and Ramon is under pressure to drop of the primary race, leaving Ben Eliezer/Mitzna as the race, in which, so say the pundits, Mitzna will win. It may be quit interesting, since Mitzna advocates evacuating settlements, and conducting negotiations as if there was no terror, and battling terror as if there were no negotiations. Of course, he must first find a negotiating partner on the other side, more than that, he must win against either Sharon or Netanyahu. If you thought Netaniahu was eloquent in English, you must hear him in Hebrew. I never heard Mitzna delivering a political speech, but I don't think he has the charisma Netanyahu commands, nor does Mitzna represent a broad enough spectrum of the population. He is certainly on the left side of the Labor party. If it is a Netanyahu/Mitzna race, I think the former wins, if it is a Mitzna /Sharon race Mitzna has a fighting chance (age is a factor).
