nicehit: I have to disagree w/ your assumption that the '048 patent "seems not to be worth the paper it's written on or MS, Google, Neustar or any other whale would have taken us out a long time ago".
Why do you assume any one of them would let the other "take NEOM out" in a HOSTILE TAKEOVER!? Who knows...they could all be holding each other at bay as they know it could become an all out bidding war for the portfolio meaning whoever would "win" a hostile takeover battle here could end up paying MULITPLE times more for the portfolio than it's worth (beeelllliones
). Although, that would be GREAT news for us little shareholders and YA alike.
Also, it's apparent that NEOM nor YA want NEOM to be be sold...yet anyway. Who knows if ever? None of US here do, for sure. I's all speculation.
The fact that NSR signed a license agreement w/ NEOM is proof enough that the '048 patent is worth MUCH more than the paper it's written on. Some folks here seem to think that NSR did NO DD on their own part before signing the license agreement, relative moments after the USPTO ruling almost two years ago. A very naive line of thinking if you ask me.
To add to it the fact that another "group" is again challenging the '048 patent is further proof that not only is the '048 patent worth MUCH more than the paper it's written on but it's worth MUCH MORE than it's weight in gold.
Trust the big boys here...it's not mystery...their actions DO point to the fact that they see what YA sees in NEOM and their patent portfolio.
JMO,

NEOM...a diamond in the rough.
