Your assessment is right on spot.I've followed this Picasso from the day it was introduced. From the UPS post box address that is listed for the address of the appraiser's address to wondering why Eddie could never use it as collateral for financing - that would require proof that the piece was authentic. If it was real he could have it certified, do a huge release on it, expose it to the Art world instead of Ebay, and have Christie's handle the sale or offer it to the Picasso Foundation directly for a private sale.Or just take loans against it and sell it in the future.
