From what I've read, a lot of people just will not touch a pinkie, especially if the stock is not transparent. Still others won't touch the stock unless it has uplisted. All that, in IMO, tends to give the investor a bit more credibility and confidence.

So, I see the first part as one level and the other, another level.

Still, others will have to watch the stock to see what is going on with the financials before they'll consider getting in.

That is just stuff that I've heard from time to time, from various investors, though other people on the board may differ, depending on their own observations.
