Re:<"You didn't answer my question. Why technically will the JBI process have problems with PETE?">
Sorry, old message that I'm just responding to now. PETE and many other plastics contain elemental oxygen. For PETE, that's about 1/3 oxygen. Oxygen plagues pyrolysis since it leads to the formation of acids, ketones and a number of other hard-to-remove contaminants.
In JBII's case, he says he has a secret catalyst and suggests he won't have any problems. I can't disprove that any more than I can disprove that Mr. Bordynuik owns the real Mona Lisa. If I were you, I would ask him to prove his claims rather than demanding that a skeptic on a message board disprove the contents of Mr. Bordynuik's black box.
By the way, in one of Mr. Bordynuik's facebook communications, he said he was seeking hydrocarbon-only plastic. It might be that Mr. Bordynuik understands he will have a problem with oxygen-containing plastics just like everyone else using pyrolysis, probably thanks to his education via the message boards.

Yes, I understand your penny stock also is the real deal, created with the inventiveness of Edison and destined to be the next Microsoft. Yes, I understand that the delays are also only because your company is making their product even more revolutionary.
