No.... not $34,000, $17,900, and even that's not the news. It doesn't say as much as it does say. Still Gooddoc's probably right that it will increase. Didn't the guy predict 8-10 kilos per month when he get's cranking? If they can get to that and not have too much greed built into their overhead we could get to the 20 cent range I would guess...
The problem is in the details or lack of them:
Dec. 29 to Jan. 30, our gold sales were about $34,600.00 USD. Our cost of operations and administration during this time was about $16,720.00 USD; this does not include loan repayment and other obligations. This left a cash surplus of about $17,900.00USD.
Why not say what the loan payments and other obligations are? Does that much money cover outgoing cash or just slow the burn-rate? He's talking about one project. What about the company? That's an important factor.
Not saying cash isn't better than no cash, just that some information would be nice.
