The question can be relative to inquirer's portfolio...
investors must constantly inquire of a state agency for status updates when such should be forthcoming from the company as a regular process of investor relations
. There are other companies and message boards, call them more relaxed (since the one in mind had zero posts today while the stock value closed up at $318.15) and those aren't expecting daily updates of minutia. Part of the difference between the two is that the other board primarily represents long term investors and not day to day stock shufflers, while this one's (relative and number of) posts are more reflective presently of shufflers.
