Although General Motors (GM) raised $23B in the U.S., eight of the 10 largest IPOs this year have taken place in Asia, and 64% of all initial public offers globally in terms of value have been raised on Asia-Pacific stock exchanges. The Americas have slipped to 20%, even with the GM issue.
