Petro America Corp 11-24-10 Conference Call
Gail Scott Intro:
Bill Simmons spoke:
Good evening shareholders. General update of what happened on Monday. Our formal CEO was Indicted for more charges. It was because of the conference call that he did last Thursday. Some how that conference did get more charges out of it from what he said. He said he didn't do anything wrong he was just letting the shareholders know that we had a new CEO and he was stepping down.
We do have a new CEO and he's a very good CEO. And he will be stepping the company up and moving the company forward. What we have to do is stand behind the CEO that we have and stay strong and stay together and be united so that we can move this company forward so we can be a publicly trading company.
We did have to shut down the web site for a short time. Hopefully it will be back up soon. We do need to ??? for our former CEO but right now I don't have that information to share with you. Do need to stand behind our CEO and keep the company moving forward because he's a great guy and he can get it done.
Gail Scott introduced the new CEO:
Gregory Cornley Sr. (Greg Cornley)
Good evening shareholders. My name is Greg Cornley Sr. I am the new CEO. I know some people thought that I was a joke or that I didn't exist, but I am here. I want to say first of all that Mr. Hawkins is in good spirits. I spoke to him earlier today. His greatest concern is that we stay together as a whole. I want you to just think about some things now. It's a travesty. Answer these questions to yourself. Why is it that we have a man that tried to help so many people and basically poor people nation wide and world wide and he hasn't had his day in court yet they are making the assumption that he is guilty?
I've known Mr. Hawkins for a while. He's an excellent business man. He's a good person. The message I want to express to each and every one of the shareholders tonight - stay strong. Let's stay united. And please give me a chance to get this job done. My job is to push Petro America forward. To make sure that it trades. To make sure that Petro is trading.
I wish I could give you a date, but we all know that right now that is impossible. I've got some issue to see to. I'm not afraid of the job. I'll get the job done. Like I told Mr. Hawkins I'll get it done or I'll die trying.
One other thing I want you to do. Not only let's pray for Mr. Hawkins, but let's pray for everybody. Let's pray for this entire Petro America Corp family. And we do need a legal fund. The legal fund should be sent to Mr. Call E. Cornwell. He's the attorney. The funds should be sent to 201 East Loula Suite 101, Olathe, Kansas, 66061
Again Mr. Hawkins is in good spirits. Where they have him - they don't even have regular parking lots. Where we parked we had to walk though mud and water and everything.
The message to shareholders - stay strong. Please allow me the opportunity to do my job. I know a lot of people are going to have questions. That's not a problem. They will be answered. My job is to push Petro forward to get us trading.
I want to say a Happy Thanksgiving to everybody. And remember when we are enjoying ourselves the founder of this company will be incarcerated but that's not our intentions to leave him there. That's why we need to send all the money and funds that we can to Mr. Cornwell who is a very reputable attorney. And we will get things taken care of.
Again have a Happy Thanksgiving. Again let's pray for each other especially Mr. Hawkins. Good night and God bless.
Gail Scott spoke:
Thanked Mr. Cornley. Shareholders let me repeat the People's Company LDF which is the Legal Defense Fund. We do have a escrow account set up with the attorney so your funds will be recorded and will be safe and they will be accumulated until we reach that magic number of $25,000 which is not so far away. You can do some math on your own and see how easy it is to do that with 12,000 shareholders. Even with 1,000 it would be very easy to do. Let me give you that information again. Call E. Cornwell, Attorney at Law, 201 East Loula Suite 101, Olathe, Kansas, 66061. It will be on the email that will be forth coming. So you will be able to have that information and send funds as often as possible.
I just want to remind everybody that Mr. Hawkins may be physically imprisoned, but like Nelson Mandela, the former president of South Africa, he said that in body he was in prison, but in mind and soul never. So he's here with us in mind and soul and his spirit certainly reeks throughout the shareholder community. So let's stay strong.
Apologized about last night's call. We will have more information as we get it. God Bless everyone. Good bye.
