Cohodes was a very large short in ESST and AKLM despite many (well respected) nay sayers. Both ESST and AKLM had fundamentals that appeared unusually strong, making both a tempting 'cheap' investment. Needless to say, Cohodes proved correct.
I'm not familiar with his style (many have a very strong dislike for him), however, my advice is to be very careful being long any stock he is short.
