I have a CONTRACT for mixed plastics, free, for ten years
Taking the man at his word, that's 2500 processors x 250 days/year x 20 tons/day = 12.5 million tons of plastic per year, or roughly a third of all plastic in the municipal solid waste stream.
Impressive. I wonder which company controls that much plastic (and is willing to commit in a contract to give it away to JBI for the next 10 years)...
Thoughts?
"Give me your tires, your plastic,
Your 20 ton masses yearning to be cracked,
The wretched refuse of your 7-Eleven stores.
Send these, the oxygenless, trashcan-tost to me,
I lift my secret catalyst beside the P2O feedbin door!"
