Sure--on one side it's all about the cost to produce. It's possible to extract high-quality gold from seawater. It's possible to extract discarded diamond rings from landfills. It's possible to extract copper from the dirt in my back yard.

On the other side, it's all about finding someone to buy it at a profit. Anyone can make pyrolysis oil cheaply. Do you want to start with wood chips (cheap) or PET and have a nasty mix or do you want to start with HDPE or other hydrocarbon only plastic (expensive) and get a product that is only hydrocarbons?

Mr. Bordynuik is vague on the route he wants to take so we have to do this game of speculating.

Yes, I understand your penny stock also is the real deal, created with the inventiveness of Edison and destined to be the next Microsoft. Yes, I understand that the delays are also only because your company is making their product even more revolutionary.
