All hell is going to break loose, in a positive way, after the permit media-wise IMO.
As for the viability of the process, it's true that nobody can prove nor disprove it yet. However, I submit that if the process itself (not the company) can merely break even then it will be a huge home run because it will be massively subsidized. It has two huge green things going for it -- reduces plastic waste and creates domestic fuel. As long ad it's a self-sustaining process and not an endless money pit like say algae biofuel that costs $32/gallon to make, then it's in everybody's and our governments' best interest to help them rapidly expand.
Heck, even money pits like algae fuel have money thrown down it just because the end product is proven to be functional. And anybody who is intellectually honest KNOWS that JBII's diesel fuel is functional. There's already a proposal floating around in Congress to effectively pay P2O creators $24 per barrel and who knows what other programs JBII already qualifies for.
Now if JBII can make even a slight profit on it's own per barrel? It's a grand slam home run out of the park as there is virtually no alternative energy process except nuclear energy that is self viable. If JBII's is even just a tiny bit profitable? It will be the first and only since nuclear energy and a monster score. (wind and solar and biofuels as examples are unviable and/or provide a poor return on large capital investment without government help)
