No, you're still confused. Paying more than a business COSTS is what happens with 99% of acquisitions every day.

You're still confusing the term "worth" and "book value" apparently still thinking they are synonymous when they aren't even close.

I already showed you that the average company in the technology sector trades for 36 times its book value. Tell ya what -- go call up and each every company in the technology sector and tell them you want to buy their company but you don't want to pay more than book value because that's all it's "worth" -- watch each and every one of them laugh you off the phone.
