EW, I'm assuming that a potential lender has no rights of access to NDA's,which is the reasoning behind my meanderings about a putative loan. Now, If I'm incorrect in this assumption then I'd agree with you: there'd be no reason for putting him on the board just for a possible loan. If my assumption is correct, however, that changes things, IMHO.
