Jag, while you want to paint the trials and tribulations of CDIV as a Gotterdammerung-esque battle between monolithic evil market makers and hedge funds on one side, and the forces of light as represented by Monk's team on the other, the mundane truth is that CDIV is too small and irrelevant to be on the SEC's radar, unless the Monk/ EIGH mess drags it down as well. It is far more likely to get attention from the State.
