a regimen consisting of a single DAA plus ribavirin without interferon would be tantamount to monotherapy



My question was along the lines of why is that necessarily so - since Rib does little by itself and yet it greatly benefits IFN by preventing resistance to IFN? (Not actually asking a question - more clarifying/closing-out my thoughts)
