i would have to think a company runs some preclinical data on DAA + rib prior to entering the clinic

I know there are no good animal models for immune response to HCV treatment - e.g. ifn doesn't work in chimps. And I would assume the replicon systems also don't provide a good model of the immune system. So not sure what pre-clinical data they would be gathering?
